Miss Union County is a local preliminary pageant to Miss New Jersey and Miss America. Miss America has been around since 1921 and was held in Atlantic City, NJ. It is now held in Las Vegas, Nevada in the month of January. Miss New Jersey is held in Ocean City, NJ in the month of June. Miss Union County is an OPEN Pageant
