Miss Union County and Middlesex County are local preliminary scholarship pageants to
Miss New Jersey and Miss America! Miss America has been around since 1921 and was held in
Atlantic City, NJ. It is now held in Las Vegas, Nevada in the month of January. Miss New
Jersey is held in Ocean City, NJ in the month of June.
Miss Union County and Miss Middlesex County are REGIONAL Pageants held jointly

The Miss North Jersey's Outstanding Teen Program is in its first year and it is a local
preliminary scholarship pageant to Miss New Jersey's Outstanding Teen and Miss America's
Outstanding Teen! Miss New Jersey's Outstanding Teen is held in Milville, NJ in the
month of January (never to coincide with Miss America!) and Miss America's Outstanding
Teen is held in Orlando, FL in the month of August. The Miss North Jersey's Outstanding
